I'm Alyssa,

a 4+1 student at the University of Oklahoma, originally from Auburn, Washington, with a passion for blending strategy, design, and media. I earned my Associate of Arts degree while still in high school, where hands-on, creative coursework first sparked my interest in both strategic thinking and visual storytelling. I bring over four years of experience working in Adobe Creative Suite, along with additional experience in Canva. Photoshop and Illustrator are my go-to tools, and I enjoy using them to create visually compelling work that supports a larger brand or campaign vision. More recently, I have developed a strong interest in media and media planning within advertising. With a background in math and Excel, I enjoy using data to uncover insights, guide strategy, and make thoughtful, impactful campaign decisions.

Graduate Work

As a 4+1 accelerated master’s student, I am excited to begin my master’s project later this year and further refine my research and strategic skills. I am particularly interested in studying audiences, their level of engagement with advertising, and the motivations behind their decision-making. I enjoy digging into what drives people to pay attention, connect, and ultimately take action. I hope to work with an entertainment-focused client, such as a concert venue, artist, or sports team, to identify the most effective ways to reach and resonate with audiences. My goal is to turn those insights into strategies that not only capture attention but also create meaningful connections and, ultimately, get people in seats.
